Cork is too far from Gorey for regular in-person work, so everything here runs as live online sessions; a full on-site day for a setting can be discussed where travel and, if needed, an overnight are covered.

That is worth saying plainly. Amy is based in Gorey, Co. Wexford, and Cork is not a county she can reach for a one-hour workshop without the travel costing more than the session. Rather than pretend otherwise, the Cork offer is built properly around live online delivery: an hour with a real group, questions answered as they come, a booklet to keep, and a certificate of attendance afterwards. Nothing is pre-recorded, and nobody is watching a video on their own.

Be straight with us — will Amy travel to Cork?
Not routinely. Cork is a long haul from Gorey and it would be dishonest to advertise regular in-person dates there. What is genuinely on offer is live online delivery, and for a setting that wants a full on-site day, a conversation about covering travel and an overnight where the schedule requires it.
Does an online hour lose anything compared to being in the room?
It is the same hour, the same content and the same booklet, and the group still talks. What you lose is Amy walking your room and commenting on what she sees. Cork settings that want that element usually send photographs of the space in advance so the session can still reference the actual environment.
How do the booklets reach a setting in west Cork?
By email as a printable PDF as standard, which is instant whether you are in Clonakilty or Cork city. Printed copies can be posted for a setting package if you would rather have them in hand for the team.
Is there VAT on top of the price?
No. Roots of Wonder is not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay. A public online ticket is €20 per person, in person is €35, and a setting package is €399, €599 or €799 as a flat fee for the whole setting. Nothing is added at checkout.
Are there booking fees?
No booking fees, no card surcharge and no per-person admin charge. You pay the ticket or package price only. An itemised receipt is emailed to you the moment payment goes through, and settings can request a formal invoice before booking so it can go through your own accounts process first.
Do staff get certificates, and do they count towards a Quality Action Plan?
Every participant receives a dated certificate of attendance naming the workshop, the date and the hour completed. Settings routinely file these as evidence of ongoing professional development in a Síolta Quality Action Plan. They are not CPD points, because that requires separate registration with an awarding body.
How long is a workshop and what is included?
One hour, with a take-home booklet for every participant and a dated certificate of attendance for educators. Online sessions are €20 per person and in-person sessions are €35, with €5 off when booked at least two weeks in advance. Private groups and full setting packages are also available.
